What do your favorite PSA memories encompass?

Bonding with my AKAs (♥) & sibs! FCN! Relay For Life! My first tinikling performance! Supporting Barkada at Battle!

What is your relationship with the Filipino or the Filipino-American identity?

I’m a proud Filipino-American, but I couldn’t really share the Filipino culture with anyone because my high school doesn’t have a Filipino club. While I had some knowledge about Filipino culture, traditions, and beliefs, I felt that I wasn’t as educated and involved as I wanted to be. PSA helped me feel closer to my Filipino-American identity because I’m able to relate to other Filipinos and learn more about the Filipino culture. I’ve never done cultural dancing, so I’m really glad that I can make that part of my college experience!

What is one piece of advice you would give to people reading this?

“Don’t regret anything you do, because in the end it makes you who you are.”

Do you have a favorite Filipino food?

This is a really really hard question…but one of my favorites is lechon kawali.

Where is somewhere you’d like to travel?

The Philippines!

Name three things you love to do.

Eat, nap, and laugh.
