Why did you join PSA?

Coming from a small town of 3000 people where I was the only Filipino in high school, I was ready to meet people who shared similar characteristics as me!

What is your relationship with the Filipino or the Filipino-American identity?

When I was younger, I did not necessarily want to associate myself with being Filipino especially since the Asian population was so small in my hometown. However, after coming to college, my appreciation for my Filipino-American Identity has dramatically increased especially since I spent this past year as the Co-Cultural Chair.

What kind of leaders do Filipinos need today? 

I believe Filipinos are in need of leaders who are not afraid to voice their opinions. Like Billy Dec said at FACT, there is little of an Asian voice in the White House. To become this kind of leader, I am working to be confident in my opinions even if it is not the most popular view on certain topics.
