Welcome to FACT 2006: "The Awakening: Igniting the Fire Within"! This October, the Philippine Student Association of the University of Illinois Urbana- Champaign is proud to present for its 14th year, the annual Filipino-Americans Coming Together conference on October 27-29. With well over 600 attendees of 15 participating schools, this conference is aimed at educating, enlightening, and empowering delegates on issues dealing with self-identity and cultural awareness. The weekend conference will be a great opportunity for people to attend a variety of eye-opening workshops, to participate in a hot variety show, and to celebrate the success of the largest Filipino American conference in the Mid-west at the biggest afterset, "The Blackout" at Urbana's Canopy Club. So be prepared to experience new things, meet great people, create lasting memories, and be awakened at FACT 2006!
