Relay For Life: Viva Las Relay

When:Saturday, April 16th to Sunday, April 17th 7 PM – 7 AM

Where:University of Illinois Track

Come support the American Cancer Society by joining our PSA Relay for Life team! Relay for Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and inspire hope for those battling cancer. During the event, teams of registered organizations and the Champaign-Urbana community will come together and walk around the U of I Outdoor Track in celebration of those who have fought the disease and to raise cancer awareness. There will be food, entertainment, kids games, a luminary ceremony, and more!

Luminarias are bags with candles in them that are dedicated to honor those who have battled cancer or to remember our loved ones who have passed. They are $10 and the money will go directly to our PSA team fund. If you are interested in joining our team or purchasing a luminaria, please contact Chloe Cachola at (philanthropy@psauiuc.org). First Round Tier 2 (Core Board) Elections are on Sunday, April 17 at 9:30am-3:00pm.
Second Round Elections are on Saturday, April 30, at 10:00am-2:00pm.

Wanna see Brian Panganiban in a hula-skirt? How about the YMCA turned into an island in paradise? Well here’s your chance! Come to PSA’s Relay for Life Fundraiser as we take you through an all inclusive Hawaiian experience! For only $3, there will be live entertainment, music, food, LIMBO, raffle prizes, and more! Round up your own Carmelo, Amar’e & Chauncey or Wade, LeBron & Bosh or D.Rose, Boozer, Noah to try and dominate the tourney! The date & time will be April 9th at 11 AM! Go ahead and set up your team! In honor of the ghost of Left Eye, Aaliyah, and Will Smith, crank out you 90s swagg to 11 for Throwback Night on Thursday, April 7, right after the April Gen Meeting! Let’s all celebrate the greatest decade/Eric Abasolo’s lifesource! Please WEAR bright clothing, snapback hats, Pippen jerseys, overalls, or grunge clothing (if you’re into that sort of thang). With exams winding down, we must now revert to an infantile stage of our lives by time traveling for the night. We’ll also have TVs to play some old school Nicktoons (Hey Arnold, Rugrats, Angry Beavers, etc.), board games of the past, PSA member baby pictures, and a Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament!
