AKA Ice Skating Social

Where: Campus Ice Arena (406 E. Armory, Champaign)

Oh hey there! Looking to show off that double axel jump you’ve been working on? How about that “Flying V?” Well, you’re in luck because AKA Ice Skating Social is this Wednesday! Bring the fun on the ice and take this chance to hang out with you ates, kuyas, and adings after your fall break. You’ll be able to spend time with your friends at the Campus Ice Arena on Fourth and Armory this upcoming Wednesday (Dec. 1st). Don’t have much to spend? No worries, because it’s only ONE DOLLAR to rent skates and there’s FREE ADMISSION (for UIUC Students w/ iCards).

Filipino American Association of East Central Illinois Christmas Party

Where: Faith United Methodist Church (1719 S. Prospect Ave, Champaign)

Homecooked food? Games? Dances? Potentially a Filipino dad dressed up as Santa Clause? Who could ask for more?  Come join us as we celebrate the holidays with the local Filipino community as well as those those across East Central Illinois! Hurrah! There will be entertaining performances, games, and Filipino food for you to enjoy throughout this upcoming Saturday!

Champaign Elementary Fall Festival

Come volunteer at Champaign’s Early Childhood Center! Volunteers are needed to help run carnival booths and entertain little kids! Remember, the more you participate in philanthropy related events, the more chances you will have to win a raffle at the end of the year! RICE BOWL

Where: Schiller Woods South. Corner of Cumberland Ave and Irving Park Rd

It’s that time of year again, kids!  Get ready for RICE BOOOOOOWL!  Rice Bowl is the BIGGEST and BADDESTsport event of the school year!  We will be playing sister universities such as UIC and Loyola for the title of Rice Bowl Champions.  Come cheer on the U of I’s Men and Women’s teams as they dominate other schools!  Enjoy the game with some hotdogs, friends, and your PSA family!  Bring your team spirit, bull horns, megaphones, posters, and orange and blue becauseWE ARE GONNA BRING THA NOISEEEEEEE. November General Meeting

What up PSA! Did you guys enjoy FACT weekend? Even though there is only less than two weeks left till Thanksgiving Break, there is a lot to experience from PSA. So, come to our November General Meeting. We have a special treat for you guys. In preparation for PSA Fashion Show 2011: Rewriting History, each scene will perform a segment of their dance for everyone. We will then have a FACT recap and info on our future events including Rice Bowl. Finally, the second episode of Senior Portrait will be shown. Hope to see you guys there. Questions? Freshmen Sleepover

When: Thursday, November 11th – Friday, November 12th. 9:00PM – 7:00AM

Where: 502 E Springfield Ave. Apartment 301.

You aren’t ready for this hot and heavvvaaayyy sleep over! It is for freshmen ONLY to help them get to know their class and hang out. Homework? Bring it there. Excitement? Bring it there. Upperclassman? Leave it at the door :P . It will be right after the Gen meeting, so bring your pjs, toothbrushes, blankets, and sleeping bags (if you have one), and homework to the gen meeting along with $4-$10 if you want to order pizza and other food.
